Overview of our Eastern European Tour

Its barely August and we are off again on a 2 week trip to Europe.  This is our 3rd consecutive year to plan a 2-week European vacation, and we believe this will be another memorable trip!  We had a wonderful tour of Italy in 2012, then a fabulous tour of Greece in 2013. Again this year we are touring with Go Ahead Tours, the same tour company that we used for Greece.  However, this year we are also traveling with our longtime friends, Paul and Vickie Pitts from Virginia.  We are excited to be traveling with great friends this year!

As with the blogs from the previous trips, this blog is primarily for our friends and family. However, we welcome anyone who is interested.  As you follow along, feel free to leave a comment if a post really interests you or stirs your curiosity.  I only ask that you sign with your name so that we know who left the comment.  I know from doing this over the past two years that I will not be able to keep the blog posts current with our "real-time" activities.  The blog will quickly start to lag behind actual events.  But I will do my best to keep up and still enjoy our vacation.  You can subscribe to my updates by entering your email address in the Follow By Email section at the right of the page.  You should receive an email every time I publish a new post.

Bags are mostly packed and we are about ready.  Tomorrow is departure day.  Let's go!
